MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Leslie King’s new book, LOVING THROUGH THE PAIN: How to navigate through the pain in relationships ($11.99, paperback, 9781628396980; $5.99, e-book, 9781628396997) readers will discover how to face emotional pain from past relationships—whether from friendships, relationships with significant others or otherwise. According to the author, many have not actually dealt with this pain; instead, they have chosen to sweep emotional pain “under the rug.” This book will ultimately help readers to examine and correct this behavior.

“The book is filled with hope for a better life in Christ as the reader experiences the healing that can only come from God,” states the author. “My hope is that readers will understand how deeply God loves them, and use this truth to nurture their relationship with Him. This truth will then lead them to follow God’s pathway for their life and discover God’s will and reach out to help someone else.”

Leslie King was born and raised in Philadelphia. She has been an elementary school teacher in the public school system for the past seventeen years. She resigned her teaching position to begin a new journey as a writer and public speaker. Three years ago, the author began writing this book out of a burden from the pain in her own relationships and what she has witnessed in other people’s relationships. King’s goal is to continue to write to help people navigate through life’s difficult times and encourage them in their walk with God.
