MAITLAND, FL— In her new book, Wounding Words: The Motives and The Orchestrator ($9.99, paperback, 9781626970854; $4.99, e-book, 9781626970861) Hillary Thompson addresses the power behind negative words and their effect on people. According to the author, there is always a motive behind what is spoken and an orchestrator behind the motive. The author points out the good news: abusive language doesn’t define anyone—what truly matters is God’s opinion.

“We live in a cruel and negative world and we can make a difference in someone’s life with words of kindness,” states the author. “We should never tear a person down with words, but build them up, because you may save a life; one day we will be held accountable for every idle word we speak.”

Hillary Thompson is a single mother, teacher, inspirational speaker, evangelist and entrepreneur. She was a victim of spousal abuse for fifteen years and, even as a young girl, she was a victim of child abuse and bullying. After witnessing the abuse of her sister and the fatality that nearly happened, she decided to speak out against domestic abuse and bullying. The author’s mission is to make a difference in the lives of women and children who are victims also, and to help put an end to abuse and bullying.
