MAITLAND, FL— In her new book, God Signs & Dad Stories ($23.99, paperback, 9781628398274; $9.99, e-book, 9781628398281) Paula Marie Pettis captures the reader’s attention with vivid flashes of the past in her father’s depiction of the Depression and the Second World War. According to the author, she received over twenty “big signs” from God—also witnessed by family and friends—as motivation to compile her dad’s writings, following his death in 2012. As a result, roughly one half of the book is her father’s memoirs and the second half focuses on God’s intervention.

“[‘God Signs & Dad Stories’] is a book with a strong declaration of God’s existence,” states the author. “…Personal memoirs by my dad from the Depression and World War II, followed by a true story of signs from God.”

Paula Pettis is a classical flutist who lives in Minnesota. She has been a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in New Brighton, MN, since she was born. She holds a Master of Music degree in flute performance, and a Major in mathematics, from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She enjoys traveling the world and wants to be just like her dad.
