“The Miracle of Africa is for the person who says, ‘There might be a God; I don’t know,’” states the author. “This is story reminiscent of the great African adventure classics written a hundred years ago when the Dark Continent seemed much more mysterious and dangerous. It is an epic novel that anyone can enjoy with a pace that will keep your interest.”

Author Mike Neil was lead to a career in fish and wildlife law enforcement because his grandfather was a game protector, who died in a tragic accident in 1961. During Mike’s thirty-year career, he was a police dog handler and firearms instructor. Upon retirement in 2002, he entered the ministry and is an ordained pastor. In 2005, Mike and Sue traveled to Africa on Safari where he finished this novel. The following year, the couple suffered a devastating tragedy when their twenty-seven year-old-daughter, Susanne, was killed on her bicycle. He is currently the senior chaplain for the Washington State Patrol, and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
