MAITLAND, FL— Joann Evans’ new book, Words From The Spirit ($9.99, paperback, 9781624192227; $4.99, e-book, 9781624192234) is a delightful compilation of original poetry, reflecting the author’s personal relationship with God. Joann conveys, simply, that “Jesus is all we have.” Her poems reflect that God can be found in everything—including nature, and in the daily routines of average people.

“I hope that all readers saved or unsaved will gain strength and hope from my story and seek God even the more,” states the author. “I hope it will take away any guilt or anger and bring them into total submission to the Lord.”

Joann Evans is a fifty-six-year-old African American woman of God. She is a proud mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her calling began in 1984. In 1988, the author joined the NYC Department of Corrections. The Lord informed her from day one that He would grant divine favor with 1,500 men (which He did) and that all of the prisoners belong to Him, and never to touch one strand of hair on their heads. The author adds, “Obedience and forgiving will take you a long way in your Christian walk. There is no eternal life on earth, and only God knows where each of us will spend eternity.”
