Rev. Bruce J. Lieske is currently a retired Lutheran pastor living in Orlando, Florida, with his wife, Barbara. God has blessed him with a series of challenging careers. After his year in Antarctica, he spent three years in the US Air Force as an aviation weather forecaster. Following his military service, he served for two years as a senior research meteorologist at the Arctic Research Laboratory in Pt. Barrow, Alaska. During that time he felt the call to the ministry. After seminary training, he served three congregations, and was the founding pastor of two of them. After his pastoral experience, he founded an evangelistic ministry to Jewish people, and more recently has been involved in sharing the good news of Jesus with Muslims. He has three children and eight grandchildren. In addition to B.S. and M.S. degrees in meteorology, he holds M.Div. and Th.M. degrees in theology.
