Paula C. Matthews Boyea, M.H., N.D., was born and raised in northeast Kansas. Paula observed her Cherokee grandmother and father using a few herbs, medicinally. This piqued her interest in herbal therapies, and she has studied those as well as other natural health modalities. Paula has enjoyed sharing that knowledge for many years. While she was in school, one of her assignments was to write a paper on spiritual principles, and how they relate to healing. Through her research, Paula has come to believe the spirit is mostly ignored. God has allowed Paula to experience many life events that have permitted a look at the issue of healing body, mind, spirit, and emotion. These experiences, and the leading of the Holy Spirit are what lead to the writing of this book.
