MAITLAND, FL— Within Rev. Elaine Pechnik’s new book, Cancer Free: The Believer’s Medical Resource Book ($19.99, paperback, 9781629525167; $9.99, e-book, 9781629525174), readers will discover an educational book on breast cancer research, through the lens of Christianity. Cancer Free is a detailed study guide based on the Word of God, medical research, infused with common sense, biblical and real life experiences—plus much more. The author exemplifies walking in faith, and believing in the power of prayer coupled with medicine.

“Medical science has made great strides in its efforts to alleviate human suffering, and yet this epidemic disease called cancer continues to take its toll on people everywhere,” states the author. “A cancer diagnosis is an unexpected crisis which may not be the end of your life, but it certainly changes your priorities and leaves you with a different perspective on life, death, and everything in between.”

Rev. Elaine Pechnik is a breast cancer survivor who describes “how and why” she became cancer free in sixty days. Elaine graduated from Rhema Bible College in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She continued her theological studies at Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, Oklahoma, majoring in Christian Education. In 2002, she was ordained by Faith Christian Fellowship International in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was on staff at the Oral Roberts Evangelistic Association. She also pioneered God’s Church and Compassion Inc. on the White Earth Indian Reservation in northern Minnesota.
