MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of her new book, There’s a Little Mud Left on My Skirt, ($15.49, paperback, 9781629522531; $7.99, e-book, 9781629522548) the author provides a much needed healing pathway to those who are recovering from depression, and even those who have experienced abuse, rape, and violence. She has experienced, firsthand, the daily journey to full healing and recovery. There is a way to being rid of the mental, physical, and emotional pain that often torments victims of abuse, and Bonnie J. Civitts introduces readers to the Source.

“My hope is that the book will teach those that are willing to respond how to live life in a way that gives wholeness, confidence, and interest in life to find themselves so that they can become what they were intended to be,” states the author. “Depression often traps one in a hole of despair, but that does not have to be the way to spend one’s life.”

Bonnie J. Civitts has studied the subject matter of her book not only in formal training, but also in many sermons, self-help books, television programs, counseling, and prayer. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Toccoa Falls College with a minor in counseling. She has also received a Master of Divinity degree from Candler School of Theology, Emory University in Atlanta, GA. The author is a survivor of abuse and rape, violence, and depression. She lives every day practicing the many lessons that she has learned to continue growing. After many years of notes and struggles, she now presents her work with this book.
