MAITLAND, FL— With her new book, El Estallido del Silencio, ($16.49, paperback, 9781498422055; $26.49, hardcover, 9781498422062; $8.99, e-book, 9781498422079) Margarita Cardona Solano relates to readers that each life saved is a miracle of God's love for humanity. The author’s mission in writing this book is to share the story, circa 1963, of how God led her along the painful path from the mountains of Puerto Rico to Washington, D.C., and eventually to New York with her little children. Through pain, joys, failures, and victories—including a near death experience—Jesus was there to guide Margarita, a single-mom seeking a better life for her family. Essentially, her testimony serves to model the miracle of God’s love.

“It is understood that everyone has difficult moments in life regardless of their place of origin, economic status, race, or creed,” states the author. “But God, who made the world and all that inhabit it, will not abandon or forsake us. My message is that there are greater things than what He did for me that He will do for all those that trust in His power.”

Margarita Cardona Solano is a bilingual and bicultural Registered Nurse, with a Bachelor’s degree in human behavior and graduate studies in public health administration. She has graduated with a Master’s degree in pastoral ministry, and has served as a pastor in the Church of the Nazarene. The author has done social and missionary work both in New York and Puerto Rico. She is the founder of the Missionary Action to Evangelize the Nations ministry.
