MAITLAND, FL— C. Jack Brinkman’s new book, The Word of God: Jesus Christ, ($13.99, paperback, 9781591607267; $7.49, e-book, 9781622308477) delves into the Scriptures, chapter by chapter, to reveal the divine nature and character of God. Each section uncovers a different facet of the Word, and builds upon the previous section to provide a clear understanding of the Bible in simple terminology. Through his writing, the author desires to share the value of God's Word, Jesus Christ, and His unlimited love for all.

“My mission was to seek inspiration from the Holy Spirit enabling me to give better witness for Jesus Christ,” states the author. “In this book, I attempted to express a simple understanding of the omnipotence and infinite love, mercy, and justice of the Father, and His providential plan for us all.”

Subsequent to two and a half years in a Jesuit seminary, C. Jack Brinkman returned to the University of Detroit for his B.A. in philosophy. After one year of law, he served three years in the U.S. Air Force as an air police and housing officer. With the help of his wife, JoAnn, and their seven children, he acquired a few professional credentials, including C.L.U., E.A., L.I.C., and C.P.P. He is now the sole proprietor of C. Jack Brinkman Co., providing financial, pension, tax, and estate planning services. He is a part-time chaplain at the Wayne and Oakland County jails and contributes to a non-denominational Bible study at the Birmingham, MI YMCA. He is a sacristan at a Catholic Church in Bloomfield Hills, MI, and gives para-liturgy services to two nursing homes in Detroit.
