MAITLAND, FL— Ceylan R. Gunduz’s new book, My Father's Princess, ($11.99, paperback, 9781498415033; $5.99, e-book, 9781498415040) follows the journey of a young orphan in France, Saranna, who dreams of the day that her incarcerated biological father will rescue her from the orphanage. However, the hopes of this reunion seem to be shattered when an American family decides to adopt her. In the midst of cultural transition and adapting to life in her new family, Saranna is introduced to a Heavenly Father who loves her very much. Then, a critical question arises in the mind of our protagonist, “Can I possibly be loyal to three fathers?”

“I hope that readers will gain a deeper understanding of God's love for them,” states the author. “Knowing who you are in Christ will change who you are. This book depicts the security of the most important relationship that anyone can have: the father-child love relationship that God has made a way for you to have with Him.”

Ceylan Gunduz is a fourteen-year-old who currently resides in New Hampshire with her wonderful family, and enjoys reading, writing, being outdoors, and laughing. She is a born-again Christian, who believes that God has a great adventure awaiting all who have put their faith in Him—should they choose to accept the challenge. Although the author doesn’t claim to be an expert on anything, she wholeheartedly trusts in this biblical principle: “As a Christian, God's promise of eternal life in heaven and the security of knowing His love for me are mine to enjoy. Ever since I made the choice to accept Jesus, I have experienced the love of God in my own life.” She invites readers to make the decision to trust in Jesus for salvation from sin so that they, too, can live in the security of His promise of love for them.
