MAITLAND, FL— Margaret Ludick’s new book, Rita
Remembers (Based on a true story), ($18.99, paperback, 9781498425711; $9.99,
e-book, 9781498425728) recounts a young woman’s life, from childhood through
adulthood. The story is unique in that its main character has endured
emotionally scarring trauma over many years. For the first seventeen years of
her life, Rita was forced to live through excessive sexual, psychological,
physical, and emotional abuse. However, most notably, our subject grows up and
seeks therapy—and God’s healing power—which allows her to overcome the damage
done by a lifetime of abuse.
“You can be inspired by the resilience of the human spirit as you read how Rita overcomes the damage done to her by abuse,” states the author. “One can overcome the damage done by abuse and become a whole, fully functional person.”
