McNairy's work helps people disentangle themselves from self-sabotage, religion

MAITLAND, FL— Through her new book, Meet Me at the Gate: Organizing the pieces of your life, ($9.99, paperback, 9781498426367; $4.99, e-book, 9781498426374) author Karen McNairy points out the tragic reality that many people—Christians and non-Christians alike—are missing God’s primary purpose for their lives. The Lord’s intent in creating each individual person was that all would come into a genuine relationship with Him. Instead, there is endless toiling in vain; people work day in and day out to bring the pieces of their lives together, yet these things are not the heavenly assignment. Meet Me at the Gate helps the reader to identify whether religion or self-sabotage is the hindrance.

“Observing the worshipers at Jerusalem and the people at the Pool of Bethesda, this book takes a unique look at the role that religion and self-sabotage play in negatively impacting our relationship with God,” states the author. “If we follow Christ, the pieces of our life will come together.”

Karen McNairy wears many hats. She is a licensed and ordained pastor, a wife, and a mother. Her greatest desire is to make known to the saved and unsaved what practices (legalism, self or lack of understanding) inhibit their living the abundant life that God the Father desires, God the Son gave His life for, and that God the Holy Spirit empowers us to have. She is not just another pastor but a proclaimer of the Gospel assigned to the Ekklēsia, the Body of Christ. She is guided by the Holy Spirit in her teaching and it is Him that brings revelation, healing, and spiritual fulfillment. She also has a daily post called “Just for a Moment,” which can be read on the author’s ministry website.
