She also received a degree in Writing from the Institute of Children’s Literature. The author retired from a nursing center in 2008 and now enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs. She is also the author of the short story, “Walk Through the Valley,” which was featured in Live Magazine, as well as many other short stories.
