MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of his new book, Possibilities Made Real: How Else Would We Know?, ($15.49, paperback, 9781498409049; $7.99, e-book, 9781498409056) Irving T Townsend attempts to explain the ways in which God allows evil to reveal the knowledge necessary to understand Him and life in general. The author wants readers to see how even the most senseless activities have been carefully selected by Christ to inform them of His existence and purpose for their future.

“God is a reality that man must eventually encounter and deal with,” states the author. “The tabooed subject of demons and devils is fashionably dismissed as if time and culture have erased them from reality. Fashions do change, but the reality of the spiritual existence of God, angels, demons, and devils has inexorably prevailed. The book will prove useful in helping its readers to face up to this inevitability.”

Irving T Townsend worked in pastoral ministry for thirty years. He served as Director of Home and Overseas Missions for Open Bible Standard Churches of Jamaica for nine years. For eleven years, he operated as managing director for a business that distributes industrial equipment, tools, and materials. His views on the imbalanced way in which the local press and human rights groups were treating local police allowed him to appear on two radio shows and in thirteen newspaper articles, including one from Amnesty International. His personal experiences with God and various encounters with the spirit world have contributed to the completion of this book.
