He has been married to his co-pastor, Vonetta G. Sewell, for thirty-one years and they have two children. Pastor Sewell holds a Bachelor's degree in theology from Family Bible College in Baltimore and a Master of Divinity from Family Bible Seminary. The Sewells reside in Thomasville, GA.
