MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Kenneth Orr’s new book, Dolls for Regina, ($12.99, paperback, 9781498431163; $23.99, hard cover, 9781498431170) young readers will enjoy the story of a five year old girl named, Regina, who lives in a small, very poor village of Africa. Her heart’s desire is to own a store bought toy. Missionaries from America visit the Big Village, but Regina did not get a toy. Dirty drinking water causes sickness to spread throughout the villages – and the missionaries return with prayers for the people – and TOYS. Regina’s experiences cause future lives to change forever. Children will appreciate how this little girl’s pursuit of a store bought doll led her to become a Missionary. It’s a soul-winning book, directing little children toward Jesus Christ.

I hope readers will realize their blessings by understanding the lack that others suffer,” states the author. “I hope that readers will takeaway from my book the importance of compassion for little children everywhere. The reason I desire these things is to decrease suffering in our world.”

Kenneth Orr began faithfully attended church with his parents from an infant through his teen years. As builders of real estate properties, Kenneth’s parents influenced his love to build things and use his creativity. He preached his first sermon at his home Church at nine years old. Throughout his life, Kenneth has been an enthusiastic witness for his Savior, Jesus Christ. Working with Jesus Festivals in Columbus, GA, he handed out Gospel tracts and held youth meetings. The spark of inspiration for Kenneth influencing children about the Gospel came from him playing the roles of various Biblical characters. Today, he is a key member of an International Missionary Outreach for Christ in Rewa, India. He prays that many children around the world will have the opportunity to read this book and receive the gift of salvation through Christ Jesus.
