MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Naomia S. Epps’s new book, A Grandmother's Faith, ($15.99, paperback, 9781498437806; ($25.99, hard cover, 9781498437813; $7.99, e-book, 9781498437820) readers will be inspired by the story of a grandmother who weathers the storms of life that beat forcefully upon her and her family. In spite of her tears and suffering, she held on to her beliefs because she knows that one day all will be restored unto her. Author wants her book to change the lives of readers – to regain that soul which was lost, encourage the weary to hold on, bring someone to Christ and give hope to the hopeless.

I want readers to know that no matter what their situation or circumstance is, whether in good times or bad times, they need God in their life,” states the author. “Why? Because He is the source of it all. They cannot accomplish anything on their own. I want the readers to know that He loves them dearly and wants to give them the very best.”

Naomia S. Epps was born in the small town of Salters, South Carolina. She is the fifth of six children born to Emmett (deceased) and Sarah Smith. She moved to Greensboro, North Carolina in 1994, where she lived for thirteen years working as a Nursing Secretary. She then reunited with a past love, got married and moved back home to South Carolina in 2007, where she currently resides. This book is an adaption of her first inspired gospel play titled, Can You Believe? She has also written other plays and several gospel songs – in addition to a love song titled, “Love You Forever” – written for her husband, Sammie, on their fourth wedding anniversary. She truly believes that she was inspired to write by God because she could not write anything until she first prayed. It was only then that the words were given to her.
