MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Louis Turbeville’s new book, Stroke of God - A Stroke Survivors Journey, ($10.99, paperback, 9781498434775; $19.99, hardcover, 9781498435451; $5.99, e-book, 9781498434782) readers will discover the author’s powerful true story as a stroke victim. Louis helps readers to understand - from the view of a survivor – not only how mentally difficult this lifetime “post stroke” journey is to the victim, but to those support networks that help them through.

My book gives a message of hope to ANYONE touched by stroke or heart disease,” states the author. “I want to encourage readers to not give up. Seek help. Professional and spiritual.”

Louis Turbeville, like many of those affected by a stroke, thought “never me”. In 2013, Louis became the survivor of a 99% blocked "widow maker" artery, followed by two different types of strokes within 6 months. His story of healing is remarkable, honest and faith-filled. Louis currently works in the Oilfield/Instrumentation business as an Account manager, servicing refineries, chemical and power plants in the Gulf Coast (Deer Park, Texas) area. Previously, Louis and his wife owned a photography business for 8 years (Action Photos of Texas). Louis studied Instrumentation and Computer Technology at San Jacinto College and University of Houston. He has served San Jacinto Baptist Church in Deer Park for 10 years, serving on the Pastor Leadership team, and as a Trustee. He and his wife Cyndi have been married 19 years, and have three sons and 5 grandchildren.
