This book recalls the real story of how the author’s impromptu climb up a mountain was a very unwise and risky decision, spurned on by the adventure of free climbing the 200 foot vertical granite rock face of Mount Yonah. The higher Charles climbed, the farther he was from safety, and the more precarious his situation became. He was stranded and for a brief moment, all options for escape seemed exhausted for Charles and death loomed as a real possibility. One option remained. Reaching out to God. This book reveals how God spoke to Charles in a supernatural and surreal manner and rescued him. His story proves that when life brings someone to the end of the line, that person must reposition oneself in God and get ready for a miracle.

Charles David Huyck is a retired Federal Agent. He began his career as a DEA Special Agent fighting the war on drugs during the 1980's, and retired as Resident Agent in Charge for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Charles spent about half his career as an Instructor and Law Enforcement Training Supervisor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. During the course of his career, Charles faced the enemy (seen and unseen) many times, and as this book describes the hand of God rescuing him from a ledge high on a mountain, God has also brought him through many storms of life as the rescues continue.
