MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Susan Morin’s new book, Oh Good Grief, ($15.99, paperback, 9781498450133; $7.99, e-book, 9781498450140) readers will meet Izzy MacLean who finds herself lost in a world of sadness after the death of her husband, Rory. Nothing could have prepared her for this type of unexpected sadness. Follow her on her remarkable journey of grief – one that involves keeping the promise she reluctantly made to Rory to move on three months after his death. Witness as family, friends, and even Rory have arranged surprises to help Izzy overcome her grief, beginning with two Australian Shepherd pups and a trip to Colorado that will change her life forever. This is a refreshing story that no reader will soon forget.

My hope is for readers to understand that how we grieve loss is different for each of us, but also that we each have choices we can make as to how long we stay down in the depths of it,” states the author. “There is hope on the other side. Life will never be the same again, but life goes on. I hope this will encourage someone to move forward instead of staying stuck.”

Susan Morin lives in the beautiful state of Minnesota. She is devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, and a pet parent. Three of her strongest spiritual gifts are mercy, hospitality and encouragement. These gifts have been used repeatedly to encourage people who have experienced great loss. Writing a book has been Susan’s dream for many, many years. Susan’s 90-year old mother lived with her while she wrote this book. Sadly, her mother passed away prior to publishing this first novel.
