MAITLAND, FL— Paul Brownback’s new book, Counterattack - Why Evangelicals Are Losing the Culture War and How They Can Win, ($17.99, paperback, 9781498480376; $8.99, e-book, 9781498480383) describes the core concept of the secular culture that is ruining our nation, shows how that concept has infiltrated the American evangelical church, proposes a path back to spiritual health for the church, and provides an effective strategy through which the church can win the culture war against the Left.

Brownback explains that conservatives, including evangelicals, witness with despair the decadence and decline in the nation that was nowhere on the cultural radar screen several decades ago. He believes that evangelicals are losing the culture war for two reasons. The first reason is that they have been infiltrated with the core concept of secular culture, which has weakened the church. The second reason is that although many evangelicals and other conservatives are engaged in various efforts to impede this societal decline, the people continue to lose ground at breathtaking speed because there is no comprehensive strategy put in place. A strategy is a must-have for engaging the Left in the culture war. This book provides one – one that will work if implemented.

I hope evangelicals will identify and fix errors in their own belief system,” states the author. “I want them to adopt an effective strategy for winning the culture war. Why? Because they are the last hope for this nation, and time is running out. If they do not act quickly and decisively America will be headed for devastation.”
