MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Kim Vogler’s new book, Home Before Dark – Stories And Anecdotes From The Days Of Her Life, ($14.99, paperback, 9781498459556; $7.99, e-book, 9781498459563) readers will enjoy a brief, yet powerful true story in each chapter – covering a broad spectrum of her life experiences, both humorous and entertaining as well as serious and tragic. These thought-provoking stories show God’s role in helping her through each situation and will appeal to both men and women, and young readers, too.

Kim Vogler explains that in today’s world people are facing challenges that in past years no one would have ever have imagined. For a follower of Jesus Christ, it is more difficult to choose His solutions to the problems faced, when “the world” has become more liberal and compromise is rampant even in some churches. The author believes that readers will face the same tough decisions that she had to make – as revealed in her stories – and realize that His was and is truly the best way, even when decisions can be painful. Readers will see that the resulting reward and peace of mind is something of great value that a person can take with them for the rest of their life.

My hope and my prayer is that you, the reader will take heart from the stories that also fit into your past experiences,” states the author. “I hope they will point you toward the same conclusion that I came to: from every experience, happy or sad, there are incredible lessons to be learned, if you just turn to your Creator for His wisdom and guidance!

Here is what others are saying about this outstanding book:

“Kim’s telling of her life’s journey is an inspiring yet humorous account of how God’s grace has brought her through adversity and the every-day challenges common to life, as well as her own tenacious ability to face those challenges. You will at times find tears welling from both the sad and joyous experience with which we can all identify, expressed through Kim’s clever way with words. HOME BEFORE DARK is a delightful read that I can recommend to all who need a lift to face the challenges in their own lives.” – Albert James Dager, Editor and Publisher, Media Spotlight

“Kim is a gifted lady and has such a wonderful touch with words. She uses them in HOME BEFORE DARK to share parts of her life as though she is writing a song about it. A beautiful melody…and so easy to relate to! I was truly captivated by the title and its content. I am looking forward to another joyful experience from Kim. I want more of her melodies!” – Nan Suter, Sequim, WA

As far back as Kim Vogler can remember, she has always had a passion for writing. It was initially expressed in her simple poems written for every important occasion. Writing came to her naturally. Her Papa was known for creating meaningful rhymes that would convey his most heartfelt emotions, not only to their mother, but also to Kim and her sister. As Kim grew into what would become her lifetime profession, her journalistic skills were put to use in promoting all types of businesses and the special qualities that set them apart from their competition. Much of her professional experience was in meeting the demands that arose from the benefits they offered through their advertising agency. However, recently she realized that the very things she truly wanted to share with others were yet to be brought out of her past and into the future. This book is a result of the messages she wanted to share with others. Readers will be elated to know that Kim is going to feature Home Before Dark as a series – a second edition is already in the works.
