As a way to cope with a broken and violent
home life, Angel
C. Davis started writing letters to God at a very young age. A love for
literature of all types led to her discovery of poetry. She was inspired by all
genres of poetic influences like William Blake, Shakespeare, W.E.B. Dubois and
Maya Angelou. However, it was her uncle’s poetic Methodist sermons colorfully
touted from pulpit every Sunday that laid the foundation for her love for God,
His Word and encouraging others.
The author consistently challenges herself by setting high goals and striving to accomplish them. Her greatest accomplishment is her role as wife and mother. She loves spending time with her family, husband, Le’Monde and children Michaela and Stephan. Angel enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling. She is motivated by encouraging others and helping them to discover their destiny. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from D’Youville College and a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership from Medaille College, Buffalo, NY.
