MAITLAND, FL—Dr. Aimee Richmond’s new book, Simply Nutrition ($10.99, paperback, 9781498492195; $5.99, eBook, 9781498492201) shows readers that the health of people in the United States presently is not at a good level; obesity has risen significantly, as people aren’t eat what is healthy and right for a 2,000 calorie daily diet. Author Dr. Aimee Richmond has also noticed this unhealthy trend today and wants to educate readers on the world of nutrition through her new book, Simply Nutrition. With her doctorate in medicine, Dr. Aimee instructs on how to eat better through the presentation of nutrients needed for healthy bodies. She carefully defines the essential vitamins (such as vitamin C and folic acid) and minerals (like calcium and potassium), as well as the harmful effects of white sugar and white flour on health. Included in the book are healthy recipes readers can use to get the nutrients they need from fruits, vegetables, proteins and other food groups on the road to eating nutritionally better.

 

Dr. Richmond says, “The mission of Simply Nutrition is to be a guide on how to keep peoples brains and bodies healthy and working well for many years. Dr. Aimee Richmond’s college degree is a BS in Dietetics. She is a graduate of Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania, now called Drexel University College of Medicine Board Certified in Family Practice 1972- 2006. Dr. Richmond is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice; Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians; and completed an  internship at Easton Hospital, Easton, PA; 1 year Residency at Grant Hospital, Columbus, OH, a  3 1/2 month Residency at  University Hospital, Columbus, OH. Dr. Aimee Richmond enjoys cooking for family, friends, and herself.
