MAITLAND, FL—
Nodella Sacajawea Jordan’s new book The
Intimate Place: My God, My Man, Myself ($9.99, paperback, 9781498440592; $4.99,
eBook, 9781498440608)
was written to bring clarity on the subject of intimacy and sex to Christians
and non-Christians alike as everyone struggles with this matter. Anyone who
wants to have a better relationship with God, their mate and themselves
intimately, should read this book, which will bring them closer to that goal. God
created intimacy for us and when we are not experiencing it, there is a void in
all or some of our relationships. God wants us to be whole, complete, and lacking
nothing.
Jordan says, “Although there
are other books published on this subject, it does not come from my personal
perspective or experiences. It is my sincerest desire to bring another point of
view on intimacy in the three relationships that most of us have and that is
God, our mate/partner and ourselves. So many of us have struggled with filling
a void that we didn't understand or realize existed. The Bible gives us the
tools to change this as pre-ordained by God. No one should go without having a
life of intimacy but they must be willing to put the work in.”
Nodella is a native of
Connecticut born into a large family, who attended and graduated from public school
and later graduating from business school in the Executive Secretary Program.
She spent her career in the administrative/secretarial field and retired early
after almost 18 years of service with the City of New Haven. Facing various
challenges, some of which could be considered devastating, Nodella refused to
give up on achieving her goals of being successful and fighting against the
odds of becoming another societal statistic. Nodella has graced platforms for
public speaking as a school P.T.O. President, via radio ads and television
interviews, and at various religious events.
