MAITLAND, FL— J. P.
Smith’s new book The
Image of My Father ($15.99, paperback, 9781498484091; $7.99,
eBook, 9781498484107) shares stories of how God is able to take someone broken
and through His grace, create a champion. He believes the stories and examples
within the book will inspire people to live their godly purpose and share their
unique perspective in the World. He challenges individuals to become a champion
by living in their full potential. When we see ourselves through His image, we
realize that there are no limits to what God can and will do in our lives; we
truly can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
Smith
says, “It is my hope that this book will encourage those individuals who feel
they have been dealt a tough hand in life and they are living life wondering if
there is "more to life than this." I hope each story, example,
leadership nugget, and discussion question will inspire you to embrace your
true God-given distinctiveness, value your reflection through the eyes of God,
and awaken the champion within you. The
Image of My Father is more than a personal call to represent the Creator
effectively as His image bearer. It also challenges individuals to reflect that
image and empower others to allow God to reveal Himself to them. Those who
inspire others today will leave a life-long legacy.”
