MAITLAND, FL— Homestead
Ali & Just-Do-It Jane’s new book Grateful Gardeners
Glutton-Free Living Cookbook ($19.99,
paperback, 9781498499590; $9.99, eBook, 9781498499606) helps bring simplicity back into your life starting with
the food you eat. Less really is more when it comes to health and happiness.
The book is meant to inspire enjoyment and appreciation for healthy living and
cooking, with humorous and insightful stories, and recipes that are organic in
nature and non-GMO in ingredients. Despite living
in an age of consumerism, the authors, who are sisters, combine humor and their
love of simple things to present a cookbook that feeds the body and the soul.
Happiness doesn't have to be left to the power and authority of others; we all
have the ability to recognize and utilize the foods -- and ideals -- that are
the best for us and will bring the richest results.
The authors
write, “Leading a happier, healthier life is much easier than we think. Being
thankful for what we have -- and concentrating on creating great food, fun and
laughter -- will result in wealth that outweighs all the material things in
life.”
Both authors
(sisters) live the simple life. Homestead Ali lives in the rural North with her
husband. She is a certified Master Herbalist who lectures, gardens, raises
chickens and loves to cook for her family. Just-Do-It Jane lives in the rural
South on a 6.8 acre homestead. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and
is the owner of a multi-media company that has been in business since 1999.
When she's not creating graphics, film or music/soundtracks, Jane continues to
be creative in her garden, planning the next homestead project, or cooking.
