MAITLAND, FL—The Bible says
without God, there is no hope.
In Only God Can Make a Donkey Talk ($15.49, paperback, 9781545618936; $7.99, e-book, 9781545621035), Lori Yoho
uses her personal life experiences to illustrate how God gave her hope when
circumstances left her feeling hopeless and isolated.
Her challenges included a cancer
diagnosis, Alzheimer's disease, family deaths, alcoholism, addiction, fear and
uncertainty.
“This world can feel dark and
foreboding, but my personal journey reveals that there is always hope, a hope
not found in possessions, prestige or
position in this world,” the author states. “That hope is found in the
person of Jesus Christ.”
The book will minister to readers as she reveals the hope found in
a personal relationship with Jesus.
“While we live in a fallen and
troubled world, God wants us to be dependent upon Him for the strength to
persevere,” Yoho says. “God wants us to have that peace that passes
understanding, regardless of whether we are facing a crisis or resting in more
tranquil times.”
Lori Yoho married her high school
sweetheart, and they have three sons and two grandsons. She has served as
preschool and children's director for several churches.
