Within
the pages of Sandra David’s new book, Settling on the Frontier ($17.99,
paperback, 9781545650578; $8.99, ebook, 9781545650585), readers will find the
second book in a series about the adventure of Tamara and Jeffrey Kane.
In Settling
on the Frontier, the Pony Express has ended and the Kane’s must make a
choice as to where they will settle as they travel west to fulfill their
father's dying wish to leave the turmoil of the Civil War and settle in the
western states. As they travel to Julesburg, Colorado with their new families
they encounter some people that will change their lives.
“Every
generation has its own challenges,” says David. Within Settling on the Frontier,
“we look back at the lives of these two teenagers during the late 1800s and how
they must mature quickly as they lose their spiritual grandmother trying to
make the right choices in a sinful world.”
Sandra
David’s father was a great storyteller. He could spin yarn better than anybody
she knew. When it came to the gene pool, she thinks she was fortunate to get
his storytelling gene. She has always loved history—especially the 1800s.
