Within the pages of Rebecca Wilson’s new book, Seoul Searching ($25.99, paperback, 9781545654439; $9.99, ebook, 9781545654446), readers will find a story about a single young teacher who moves to Seoul, South Korea in 1981. As she adjusts to a new language and culture, she also fights the Korean government to adopt a child.

Seoul Searching provides readers with a strong emotional element through the adventures this young woman experiences in a strange new land. Persistence and fortitude carry her far in her struggles to adjust and adopt.

“With the world watching current events unfold in North Korea, readers will identify with this story and be moved by the resilience of a young American teacher four decades ago,” says Wilson.

Rebecca Wilson, born and raised in Wabash, Indiana, earned a BS degree in elementary education from Taylor University; taught first grade for nine years in Lancaster, Ohio; and then moved to Seoul, Korea where she taught first and second grades.
