Within the pages of Blanch
Nutting’s
new book, Wealth
Beyond Riches ($15.49, paperback, 9781545662205; $7.99,
ebook, 9781545662212), readers will find a book about a devoted couple who
reared ten kids with sacrificial love and godly fear. It is reminiscent of the
Little House series, but set 100 years later and in Maine instead of the
Midwest.
“People want a book which is
honest about the struggles faced by families whether it be currently or years
ago. The faith my parents exhibited during devastating ordeals challenges all
of us today to live for God rather than our own desires,” says Nutting.
Whether today or in years gone
by, people need to have a sense of their own vulnerability and the need for
rearing kids with strong work ethics, love for family, and perseverance in the
face of tragedy. Wealth Beyond Riches does this.
After college, Blanch Nutting
taught school for three years, then married. After her three children were
born, she homeschooled them at times and now works as an aide in a second grade
class. Writing has been an interest of hers for forty years.
