Within the pages of Ann Kief’s new book, Blessed
by Adoption ($15.49, paperback, 9781545668160; $7.99, ebook,
9781545668177), readers will find a true story about a German girl who was born
a baroness, adopted by Americans, and later became a “princess.” While
searching for biological roots, surprises unfolded, miracles happened, and
patterns developed that revealed a common life thread.
Kief believes this is an
inspirational book of amazing occurrences along the journey of discovery
blending families and countries. “Whether adopted or not, readers will be drawn
into the twists and turns of the thought processes, relationships, and
research,” says Kief.
Much news today is about
anti-Christian sentiment, abortions, immigration, citizenship, and
German-American relationships. Kief’s true story gives a historical and
relational perspective of those issues in her life and how it affects her
beliefs today.
Ann Kief lived half of her
childhood in Germany and the other half in Northern Virginia. She has a BS from
Southern Illinois University and MS from Indiana University. She has written
professional articles and co-authored a nationally distributed professional
management aid book.
