Within

Through Loss ($9.99, paperback, 9781545670392;
$4.99, ebook, 9781545670408), readers will find a book designed to extend hope
and healing to those grieving the loss of a child.
Living
Through Loss explores, through
spiritual teaching, encouraging Scripture, and personal experiences a way to
restoration with God’s help.
“More
people are experiencing the loss of a son or daughter not only from illness or
accidents, but from drug addictions, war, and violence,” says Smith. “A
parent’s grief is incredibly devastating and there is a need to help them.”
Jo
Ann Smith was a wife and mother of four living in Northwest Ohio when her
youngest daughter, age sixteen, was killed in a car accident on her way to
school. Although Jo Ann had grown up in a religious environment, this tragic
loss challenged her faith and began a journey through grief that inspired a
deeper understanding of God’s love and His ability to carry us through the
worst events of life.
