Within
the pages of Nancy Blake’s new book, Betrayed ($9.99,
paperback, 9781545669709; $4.99, ebook, 9781545669716), readers will find a biography
of a woman who lived for 26 years with a sexual addict.
After
graduating from college, Nancy Blake got married and had the opportunity to buy
a McDonald's franchise. After 25 years of building the business, they owned
several restaurants. She had no idea that her husband had a separate life apart
from their family. He told her after 25 years of marriage that he was addicted
to pornography and had been having affairs during the entire marriage.
After
reading Betrayed, Blake’s hope is for other wives to be able to see the
warnings that she didn't see in her 26-year marriage. She hopes the reader
would see the necessity to depend on the Lord to take them through the storm.
“It’s
important for the reader to realize the danger of pornography and how it can
ruin a family. Stay away and warn
others,” says Blake.
Blake
will be recording on Family Talk radio program with Dr. Dobson in September
2019. Her story will air on 1,700 stations. It is Dr. Dobson’s desire to
promote her book.
