Author
Hannah Woods shares her heartbreaking story of abuse and corruption in A
Grandmother’s Anguish: A true story of abuse and victimization as a result of
political power and corruption ($11.49, paperback, 9781498441117; $5.99,
e-book, 9781498441124). Although she and
her family endured horrible hardship, God never left their side.
Woods was gravely disappointed by the criminal justice system
after attempting to prosecute her granddaughter’s father for sexual abuse. In spite of the evidence, she was thwarted at
every turn by politics and financial interest that prevented his prosecution.
“I hope that readers will gain an
awareness of the evil that can exist in a system that was designed to protect
the innocent, and the need to trust God for that protection,” said Woods.
Hannah Woods
has served as a public school teacher for 33 years. Along with her daughter, she fought the
criminal justice system over a four-year period, seeking justice for her
granddaughter.
