Lionel
Ledbetter was born in 1939 in Dora, Alabama. He served in the U.S. Navy and
studied at Jefferson State College before becoming an electrician. He met and married Sharron Jackson in 1964
and they were blessed with three boys, one girl and six wonderful
grandchildren.
