April’s Vision: Fresh Insights for Soaring Above the Storm is a collection of Scripture-based passages written to inspire people to soar with God over life’s storms. Author Linda Claiborne wrote April’s Vision in honor of her late daughter and describes the ways God can appear when all hope seems lost. Each insight/passage is filled with strong imagery and stable connection to the Scripture verse attached to it.
Claiborne unites present-day storms with biblical truth to show how God’s Word can aid in the understanding of anything. For example, she captures the turmoil Mary must have felt during Jesus’s crucifixion and death, displaying a new viewpoint on how Jesus’s death magnified God’s love for us and how Mary didn’t lose her son as much as give Him to a higher purpose for reaching others.
Linda Claiborne is recently retired with the anticipation of spending time with her granddaughter while pursuing her passion of writing. She enjoys contributing to the devotion writing team in her church. Linda lives in Ligonier, PA with her husband John and their two-year-old granddaughter, Natalie. April’s Vision is her first book.
