Authors Darrell Peavy and Regina Hutchins share an inspirational story about defying the odds in The School That Went From Good to “A” ($11.49, paperback, 9781545636749; $5.99, e-book, 9781545636756).
Peavy and Hutchins have seen firsthand what a little confidence and determination can do. When students at Sykes Elementary had adults behind them that believed in them, they pressed forward and accomplished what many thought was impossible.

Darrell L. Peavy is the author of three other books: Your Circumstance: It’s Not That Bad, Breaking Free From The Crutch Syndrome and Making Your Mind Work For You. He received the inspiration to write this book from his current placement at Sykes Elementary School.
Regina Hutchins has been educating children her entire life! She attended Mississippi College where she earned her BS in Education and continued to New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where she earned a Master’s in Religious Education. She has been the Library/Media Specialist at Sykes Elementary since 2014
