Author Axijmus wants to inspire his readers to action with Aperturah: A Tribute to the Spoken Word Community, Drum Circle Community and Esoteric Community ($9.99, paperback, 9781498449694; $4.99, e-book, 9781498449700).

Axijmus believes that our society is pleading for change, but in order for it to come to pass, someone will have to speak up.

“I believe that it is my obligation as a citizen of this earth to share my human experiences to confront loneliness with just as much concern as fire hazards. The purpose of my book Aperturah is to distinguish the warriors from the zombies,” said Axijmus.

Axijmus was born in Jamaica and lived among the Arawak and Rastafarian people.  He is a veteran of the U.S. Army with numerous medals and awards, including: Afghanistan Campaign Medal -w/Campaign Star, Army Good Conduct Medal, Natl. Defense Service Medal, Global war on Terrorism Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Reserve Medal -w/M. Device, NATO Medal.
