Dog Walk Talk: While I’m Walking, God’s Talking is a collection of anecdotes about a variety of real-life issues written from a Christian perspective. In each, the author presents the issue, sometimes using humor, briefly shares his own life example, and then engages readers with directed questions about the topic to provide an opportunity for introspection.
Each anecdote is followed by appropriate biblical citations to provide the reader with further study, should they choose to do so. It is hoped that the book will help readers see themselves through the offerings and embrace their uniqueness in a positive way as they face their own everyday life issues. Further, it is hoped that they will come to embrace any brokenness or messiness in their lives by knowing or sensing that it is but a steppingstone toward wholeness and spiritual growth.
Joe Miller loves people, life, Jesus. engaging with people and staying young! He always has to have a dog. Miller is an avid blogger and is currently working on his third book. He is a volunteer staff member and Elder of a national ministry, a previously published author, Small Group Leader, and Leader Coach at his local church. Miller holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice Management, is an avid student of life experiences, and a songwriter.
