2020-09-17

Authors Scot Bowlsby and Noah With address adoption and the people shaped by it in The Broken Perspective: Adoption Perspectives ($11.49, paperback, 9781632212856; $5.99, e-book, 9781632212863).

Bowlsby and With, adoptees themselves, offer some of their wisdom with other adoptees, or those who care about them.  They consider both open and closed case adoptions, along with some of the issues adopted children face, such as fears and forgiveness. They also present some considerations for families considering adoption.

This book should give you some ideas to think about when adopting, or dealing with adoptees,” said Bowlsby.

Scot Bowlsby served the Air Force active duty and the Iowa Army National Guard part-time. Now retired, he volunteers at his local church, as well as a prevention company that deals with kids.
