Hearn has experienced the foster care system both as a child welfare case himself, and then as a professional social worker. He writes to share his own story of redemption through Jesus Christ, hoping that his story will guide and encourage anyone currently involved in the welfare system.

Tommy Hearn is an advocate for change. He earned an MSW in social work from the University of Pittsburgh and has over 14 years of experience in the social work field. He has seen the ins and outs of the child welfare system and hopes to expose the abuses within the system, as well as encourage others to achieve and succeed.
