Cassie loves drawing tropical fish and the world they live in, and she has been painting canvasses on this subject over the span of the twenty years that she lived in the Caribbean. Two years ago, she was introduced to the world of adult coloring books and their intricate patterns and designs and thought it would be fun to create some designs of the fish she was seeing in her scuba adventures.
Cassie Hewitt resides in the Kawartha Lakes region of Ontario, Canada. She is the granddaughter of legendary Canadian hockey broadcaster Foster Hewitt. She has always had an interest in drawing and painting and took art classes all through high school. Cassie taught visual arts at the high school level for five years in the British Virgin Islands. She drew and painted the tropical fish in the area, both on canvas and for t-shirts in local hotels. Cassie is a mother of four wonderful sons, all grown up now and has 4 grandchildren. She enjoys writing poetry and is working on a children’s book next!
