Author Boniface Burton Shonga shares training for God’s warriors in Destined for Greatness: Preparation Precedes Promise ($11.49, paperback, 9781662801129; $5.99, e-book, 9781662803529).

Shonga took inspiration from Mark chapter 1, where Jesus chose His disciples and promised to “make” them fishers of men.  Modern believers should also be “made,” or prepared, to serve their Maker in the battle against evil.

This book is for men and women of the Christian faith, seeking answers to twists and turns that life often presents to us all. Why do bad experiences come our way? How should we respond?said Shonga.

Boniface Burton Shonga was ordained to serve full time as Pastor at Kabwe Chapel in January 1991. After years of an illustrious career in education and industry he resigned to answer the call to serve the Lord full time. He was being consecrated bishop in December 2006 to oversee not just the local assembly but the whole family of churches planted under Rock of Hope Assemblies. He has been a frequent speaker at many church meetings and conferences in Zambia, South Africa, Congo, Malawi, Tanzania, England and the USA.
