Mowrer began an in-depth study of Jesus’s Sermon on the Mount while pursuing her Master’s degree, and felt that she truly “heard” it for the first time. Struck by the relevancy of His Words in today’s society and among today’s Christians, she authored this study to help others allow Jesus’s Words to take root in their hearts and lives.
“As I studied [Jesus’s Words], I began to see their relevancy to today's world. We need to back to the basics. We need to study, learn and live His Words,” said Mowrer.
Linda Mowrer is a retired in-home child care provider who recently earned a Masters degree in Bible and Theology from Lincoln Christian University. She and her husband, Chris, live outside of Galesburg, IL and have two adult daughters and two fur babies.
