Author Don Davis offers a fresh perspective on the life of Jesus Christ in The Innkeeper’s Bench ($16.49, paperback, 9781662811029; $8.99, e-book, 9781662811036).

Inspired first by a stage play (included as bonus material in the book), The Innkeeper’s Bench tells the story of Zebulon, the innkeeper from Bethlehem.  After meeting Mary and Joseph during the Roman census, he takes an interest in their family and watches Jesus as He grows, lives, dies and rises again.

This story is intended to encourage those who read it and understand that we do have a Savior who understands us and we follow ordinary people who accomplished extraordinary things. In all things, God and His Son Jesus Christ are to be honored,” said Davis.

Don Davis is a retired engineer and former officer in the U.S. Army. He has taught adult Sunday school with Bible Methodist for more than 45 years.
