Author John Putch invites readers to turn to God in the aftermath of divorce in Pressing On: Living Victoriously After Divorce ($20.99, paperback, 9781662817274; $37.99, dust jacket, 9781662817281; $9.99, e-book, 9781662817298).
Speaking from his own experience, Putch understands that people need daily encouragement after a divorce. He pulled from all 66 books of the Bible in order to write this year-long devotional so that readers will realize that every part of the bible applies to their situation.
“After my divorce, I wanted to reach out to those who were struggling with a divorce. I saw that people needed more than a 12-week program. I realized people needed daily help for their problems,” said Putch.
John Putch holds a BA from Baptist Bible College, and a THM from Trinity Valley Baptist Seminary. He is currently employed by Ascend Performance Materials and pursuing his PhD from Louisiana Baptist University, all while juggling the responsibilities of a single parent.
