Author Bob Griffin inspires believers through a historical study of revivals and how they start in Firestorms of Revival: How Historic Moves of God Happened – And Will Happen Again ($18.99, paperback, 9781662821349; $8.99, e-book, 9781662821356).
While studying for his doctorate degree, Griffin was passionate about revival and decided to focus on the topic for his doctoral work. Through his research, he discovered ten characteristics typical of revivals and moves of God throughout the Bible that were also demonstrated in five major post-biblical revivals. He wants to see revival break out again, and shares how God’s people can be a part of it.

Dr. Bob Griffin, Sr. graduated from Denver Seminary and earned his doctorate from Trinity University. He served in a variety of ministries, including youth, counseling/mentoring, lead pastor and campus pastor. Griffin and his wife, Connie (herself a missions pastor), founded Rockford Renewal Ministries in 1997, an organization committed to the historic revival of the Church and citywide transformation. They share three children and eight grandchildren.
